My family and I had an amazing stay at Shannon Breeze Cottage. Lena, our host, was lovely and kept the house very clean. the bedrooms were spacious and the cottage had all the necessary amenities, including a fully equipped kitchen. Lena even set up a cozy fire for us, which was much needed during the rainy days. She was always available to give us recommendations on where to go and what to see. We felt right at home in this charming 300-year-old cottage and had everything we needed for our 4-day stay.
Nothing negative to say 😊

We had an absolutely mind-blowing stay in this super charming 300-year-old cottage. Lena, our host, was incredibly kind and helpful, guiding us on where to go and what to see. The fully equipped kitchen with an electric kettle and cookware made meal preparation a breeze. The fireplace added a cozy touch, and Lena even provided logs and turf for us to use. The peaceful surroundings allowed for fabulous walks and a much-needed switch off from the outside world. We also loved the outdoor dining area and the option to barbecue. The cottage had everything we needed, including a washer and dryer for laundry. The welcome drink and the fresh eggs from Lena's hens were a jaw-dropping treat. We highly recommend this place for hiking, cycling, fishing, and horseback riding. The picnic area and playpen were great for relaxation. The 24-hour reception and VIP check-in/-out made the experience even more convenient. We appreciated the no pets policy and the no smoking on site rule. We definitely plan to come back to this incredible cottage getaway.

I had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with a warm turf fire and a bottle of wine. The host went above and beyond my expectations, providing fabulous information on local attractions and pubs to visit. It was a pleasure to chat with her on a daily basis and she was always available to answer any questions I had. The constant supply of turf for the fire made the cottage feel truly homely. the cleanliness was excellent, the cottage had all the necessary facilities, and the location was peaceful and conveniently close to various counties.
Everything was spot on.

I had a blast cycling, horse riding, and fishing. Oh, and let's not forget the world-class tennis skills I showcased in Portumna. Shannon Airport is conveniently close, and the free parking was a real treat. The holiday home was charming with its marble floor and private entrance, and the fireplace added a cozy touch.
Did NOT enjoy the lack of Wi-Fi. How am I supposed to survive without constant Internet access?

I loved being able to indulge in activities like cycling, horse riding, and fishing. And wow, playing tennis in Portumna was a truly life-changing experience. Totally worth staying here.
Ah, just one little downside - couldn't find any underwater basket weaving classes available. What a shame.

Enjoyed cycling, horse riding, and fishing. Played tennis in Portumna, it was only 8 km away! The nearest airport was Shannon, so convenient. Free parking, a fancy tile floor, and even a BBQ. Loved the cozy fireplace in the holiday home.
So disappointed, couldn't find a single fault. Just perfect.

We got excellent value for our money at Shannon Breeze Cottage. The room was cozy and had everything we needed, including a fireplace and lovely crockery. The location was peaceful and we enjoyed stargazing at night. Lena, the owner, was so warm-hearted and generous, providing us with fresh eggs and even sharing breakfast with us. The staff made us feel right at home.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Our stay at Shannon Breeze Cottage was absolutely wonderful. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful host, Lena, who made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with a beautiful fireplace that we enjoyed on chilly evenings. We had the opportunity to pick fresh pears and apples from the garden and even received farm-fresh eggs for breakfast. The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding areas, with a nearby town offering a castle, forest walks, and a picturesque lough. While there was no WiFi or phone signal, it allowed us to truly unwind and disconnect from the outside world. our experience was fantastic and we would highly recommend staying at this charming cottage.
